We are KALEI, a Polynesian, Christian owned bonnet brand founded by five school students with a shared vision: To create something meaningful that reflects the values embedded into our heritage while advocating for a modern outlook on how we care for our hair. What began as part of the YES Young Enterprise programme has progressed into a part time business we are proud to call our own.

Established at the beginning of 2026, our brand is rooted in identity. Every bonnet we create represents more than style - it carries purpose, beauty and heritage. Inspired by our Polynesian traditions and guided by our Christian values, each piece is designed to reflect grace and feminity with our handpicked fabrics.
